WRIGHTS GW CHARDONNAY 2004

Wow! This is definitely a wine you should try. The only thing is, you won't be able to stop yourself. It has all the characters of a trophy wine, rich ripe fruit aromatics complemented with a weighted smooth palate that lingers with creamy vanilla flavours. The GW range of wines has not been produced with animal by-products or dairy products, making it suitable for vegans and vegetarians to enjoy. The wine is the first in New Zealand to be fully certified vegetarian through the New Zealand Vegetarian Society.

The grapes were harvested from Reid & Leigh Fletcher's Waitaria Vineyard in Patutahi, Gisborne. A limited production of only 1500 bottles have been produced.

The wine was fermented and aged in French oak barrels. A portion of the wine was selected to undergo malo lactic ferment while the remainder was aged on yeast lees. The wine was blended together to create a wine with stamina and body, a wine to be enjoyed now!
