Nicola is the driving force in the business.  She likes to enjoy fine wine, good food and enjoys our the lovely surroundings with our cellar door being located at the heart of our business. Not to mention she is mother of 5 beautiful boys.

She is not quite superhuman – but close. She moved to Gisborne in 2004 to meet Mr Wright, who she hoped would be a winemaker.  She did not realise she would have to plant the vineyard out herself!  Although not blessed with a green finger, she is a pioneering spirit, risk taker and self-believer.

Nicola loves life, fine food and wine.  Her passion is to develop food and wine matches.  She is responsible for the clever wine and food deconstruction available at our cellar door.  She trained, and still works, as a criminal lawyer.  She believes nothing is crazier than the truth.  Able to talk her way out of, and hopefully others into, anything.  Drink only the (W)right wine.
