Aotearoa New Zealand Organic Wine Awards 2022 have awarded us as the  Sustainable Vineyard of The Year for 2022.

Its been an epic journey for us over the last 20 years in Gisborne and we are very honoured to receive this prestigious  accolade. Since the beginning we have always strived to produce wines from organic grapes. Over the last 5 years we have stepped up our focus on been more aware of our surroundings from the soil we walk on, to the plants that grow in our vineyards, to our surrounding waterways and to our involvement in our local community.

Our business is not just focused on the bottom line. It has wide diverse group of stakeholders. Thanks to our awesome team whom have helped Wrights Vineyard and Winery to be recognised as the Sustainable Vineyard of The Year. Our journey has only just begun, we are still actively improving our sustainable practices.  Thanks to our old and new customers and stockists whom have supported us along the way.
